This site is dedicated to the memory of Daniel Caboche.
Daniel Caboche was born in Beuvry, France on December 16, 1941.
Daniel always rebelled against the system, climbing over the boarding school walls to sneak into town, and once getting himself arrested for kissing an underage girl in a cinema!
He left France as a conscientious objector to military service, and travelled for over 15 years, which you can read about in the 'Lifestory' section.
The last time Sylvia visited Daniel at the hospice was a week after he was due to have died. Kunden said ‘he’s just not obeying the rules!’ and Sylvia said ‘well, no, he never did.’
